I so regret having a drug-addicted selfish mother who abandoned me for 20+ years and I'm unable to forgive her even though I know it would be better for me if I did. I regret her betrayal has stopped me from trusting and truly loving others and caused me to pick relationships I know won't work because I'm afraid of being abandoned. Vote Up
