I so regret not having told my father the truth about my being gay before he passed away. As with everything back in those bad old days, it was fear that kept me from being honest & open with my father & with the world in general. It's not an excuse, but, sadly, it is the reason. Vote Up

I so regret putting off telling my dad about my being gay before he died. I will never get that time or the chance to be the real me around him back.
